The lights arrived this afternoon and Ruth drove down immediately to pick them up and begin charging. She is very supportive of good lighting for her darling husband who insists on riding his bike in the woods at night. They are now charging. That is the great news. The not-so-great-news is that the manufacturer strongly recommends a full 9 hour charge before using which means they will be ready at about 9:45, about when we will be returning from our night ride (ironic huh?). I personally am going to stick by the book and will let mine charge fully before using, so I will be using my old lighting setup one more time tonight. You are welcome to leave your light charging at the D'Days or you may take possession this afternoon/evening and use it tonight – your call. The total damage was $132.50 per person, no additional charge for the electricity – check or cash accepted.
See y’all tonight. 60 degrees, not too chilly yet.
